Travelling to Nuremberg

These are some suggestions and you should check with the airlines. Direct flights are from London Gatwick with Air Berlin, twice daily except Saturdays. Swiss offer flights via Zurich from Heathrow, London City, Birmingham and Manchester. Lufthansa fly to Nuremberg via Frankfurt/Main, Munich or Düsseldorf from Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester. KLM fly via Schiphol from several UK airports

Other possibilities include flying to Munich or Frankfurt with British Airways or Lufthansa. A viable alternative is Easyjet’s service to Munich from Gatwick, Stansted, etc. Either hire a car at Munich airport – the drive to Nuremberg is about 1 ½ hours or take the S-Bahn to the mainline station (Hauptbahnhof). High speed trains run at least hourly to Nuremberg. You can also travel by rail direct from Frankfurt/Main airport to Nuremberg. Trains run hourly.
